You can’t please them all (Yiddish video)

You can’t please them all.

We all know that.

But somehow, sometimes, we still try.

We think that maybe we will be successful and succeed in pleasing them all, even though deep down we know that it’s impossible.

But it’s even more than that.

Trying to please everyone can actually be really bad for you – especially in business.

Find out why in this video:

*** BTW you might notice that my voice cracks towards the end of the video. You always get the unedited me and it’s winter in Montreal 🙂 … Sorry about that!

Master Your Comfort Zone (Yiddish video)

We are our own best friends – and our own worst enemies.

Getting “trapped” in our comfort zones is probably the single biggest reason why people don’t realize their dreams.

The key to changing all that is to know how to master your comfort zone;
Accept it, be aware of it, and know how to break out of it and rise to the next level.

In this video, we discuss two ways to do that.

Learn It and Forget It! (Yiddish video)

Once again we’re doing this in Yiddish… But this time we added English subtitles for the benefit of our English speaking friends…

Wow! What a week!

Thank you all for the amazing feedback and support! It really gives us the energy to continue.

I had some fantastic conversations with some yungerleit on the phone this past week.

One of them was with Chaim Gluck, a salesman who sells life insurance policies, who commented on the last video.

We had a great conversation which I’d like to share with you (with his permission, of course).

I shared with him a concept that applies not only to sales but with any skill that you wish to learn and internalize.

Overwhelmed? Try this… (video)

Feeling overwhelmed?

Maybe there’s just a lot going on in your life right now.

Or maybe there are just so many things to do and you don’t know where to start.

The problem is that when we’re feeling overwhelmed we can’t operate at our best. We’re either frozen in place or just torn in too many different directions to be able to focus and get things done.

Here’s one way to cut through the chaos and get you calm, energized and motivated again to keep going.

Is it a SHOULD or a MUST? (video) [English & Yiddish]

I should do this. I should do that.

We are constantly using the word “should” in our lives when we talk about things that, yes, we “should” do or “should” change…

But here’s a tough question:

When was the last time you actually did something that was a “should”?

Something to think about…

Here’s the thing; for real change to happen; 3 things have to happen.

Find out what they are in the video below:

As you can see, we also created a Yiddish version this week. Make sure to leave your comments/opinion if you want us to continue doing so!

And now for the Yiddish version:

What Should I Do? (video)

How many times have you asked yourself the question: “What should I do?”?

What we often don’t realize is that this question is actually disempowering. It implies that you don’t know the answer and that you don’t have the power to find the answer yourself.

So what should you ask yourself when you are not sure what to do?

Stay Motivated (video)

We’ve all had the experience of getting all fired up about something, but then, as time passed, and we no longer felt that initial excitement our motivation to keep going disappeared.

One way to stay motivated that we’ve discussed is knowing your Why (see here).

This time we’ll look at a way to stay motivated that has been proven in studies to increase your chances of actually achieving your outcome and that has been used by top performers and athletes for ages.

Fail or Learn? (video)

Life is a journey with ups and downs and everything in between.

In a previous post I spoke about following your fear (check it out here).

In last weeks’ post  (Click here) I spoke about how to motivate yourself to keep going in spite of the biggest fear of all – fear of failure.

Today let’s look at a different way of looking at failure that can help reduce and eliminate this fear.
